Hey crew, we’re mixing it up here at the Dealers Diary with a new look.
Quick wins
New York is live. Last week was our first week on sale in New York, and we got our first two stores to pick us up! Shoutout to Cannabis Realm White Plains / Rockland shops. You’re officially #1 and #2 for us in New York, and you have our hearts right now.
We hit 255 stores. Woohoo! Sometime in November we realized we’d broken through 250 in CA and are now at 255, beating our goal by a month. Next up: 300
Packaging love. Thank you for the outpouring of support and helpful comments in our packaging unveiling last email. Y’all are great. It was genuinely heartwarming how many of you wrote in with praise and smart ideas (some of which we’ll implement). We appreciate every one of you for helping us get better.

Standards Not Shortcuts
Now, onto today’s feature presentation.
One of our mottos at Halara is “Standards not Shortcuts.”
This comes from our Product Wizard, Nick. He takes pride in making sure we make the best quality product on the market at the best price. When companies cut corners to save a few cents, we all feel it. That goes all the way down to the type of hardware used in vapes.
To glass or not to glass?
From day one, we’ve used glass cartridges. In the early days, we tested plastic cartridges and they left a bad taste in our mouths. Imagine our surprise when we recently discovered that the vast majority of cartridges in California use plastic chambers.
If you’re not familiar, there’s growing concern that heating plastic can shed unwanted compounds into the oil. At the very least, it can affect taste—and that’s not a tradeoff we’re comfortable with.
That’s why we exclusively use glass chambers in our 510 thread cartridges. We want the hardware to be as inert and clean as possible.
We believe in this so strongly that Nick and I sat down to talk about it and show you exactly what we mean (filmed in our super secret HQ lair)
You’re probably going to hear me talk more about this. If we can help push standards forward—even a little—it makes the whole industry better.
